Geotextile and Fiber Additives

Arenas are composed mostly of sand blends or sands with arena additives such as geotextile and/or fiber materials. Each arena will have different performance levels depending on the composition of the surface. When it comes to composition, the most important criteria to evaluate are impact firmness, cushioning, grip, responsiveness and consistency. Blending in additives such as geotextile material and fiber can often enhance these qualities in your footing.

Geotextile

Our geotextile is a non-woven polyester material processed and cut to perfection for blending with sand footing. Geotextile adds cushion and give throughout the riding surface.

Fiber

Synthetic fibers serve as an excellent binder for sand and turf footing materials to give firmness and support. The objective in adding fibers is to improve the functional properties such as sheer strength and stability.

 

We offer both materials in pure form as well as two pre-blended options (at 15% and 30% fiber) depending upon the needs of your footing.
